Rose Marie (Cordy) Brazil 11/20/1931 - 4/9/2022 Rose Brazil, age 90, a loving mother of three sons and wife of the late Richard Brazil. Rose was born to the late Hazel and Frederick Cordy on November 20, 1931 in Oregonia, Ohio. Rose and Richard were married on December 7, 1952 and spent 68 wonderful wedding anniversaries together. They married in Plover, Wisconsin and shortly moved to Winamac, Indiana where they had their first two sons, David and Daniel. They then moved to Ft. Pierce, Florida in 1956. After arriving in Ft. Pierce, they had another son, Samuel. They finally made their home in Okeechobee, Florida in 1961. Rose grew up surrounded by a large family. She has six brothers and two sisters. She was influenced by her love for Jehovah and her family to be a loving and caring woman, always giving her time to others and incorporated that into motherhood. As a mother, grandmother and great grandmother she was generous, loving and kind and spoiling them all no matter their age. She truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures. She loved chatting with family and friends telling them of her life growing up. She enjoyed growing flowers and plants of many kinds; and she took pride in her home. She had the ability to reach a person's heart in a deep and positive way by teaching them the Bible and about God's Kingdom. She was baptized on April 13, 1952 and was a member of the West Okeechobee Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Rose was preceded by her parents; husband, Richard; sister, Elizabeth; brothers, Arthur, infant Daniel, twins Walter and Thomas, and Hubert. She is survived by her sister, Mary, who lives in Illinois, and brother, Fred (Carol), who lives in Wisconsin. She is also survived by three sons: David (Crystal), Daniel (Sharon) and Samuel (Lori) who live in Okeechobee, Florida. She has four grandsons and one grand- daughter and seven great grandchildren whom all she adored with her heart. Brother George Hogan will be officiating a memorial service at Buxton & Bass Okeechobee Funeral Home 2 p.m. Saturday, April 30, 2022.
