Richard Austin Brazil, 92 Okeechobee – Richard Austin Brazil died March 26, 2021 at home surrounded by his wife, family, and friends. He was born December 17, 1928 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin to Leon and Elizabeth (Braun) Brazil. A resident of Okeechobee since 1961, he built his home from the ground up with his own hands. Richard had a green thumb along with many other talents. He cherished time he spent with his sons, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Mr. Brazil was preceded in death by his parents; and his brothers, Wayne, Elroy, Bob, and Dale. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Rose Brazil; sons, David Brazil (Crystal), Daniel Brazil (Sharon), and Samuel Brazil (Lori), all of Okeechobee; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and brothers, Arden, Laurel, and Pete; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. A virtual memorial service will be held at a later date.
