Ramona Romero, 81 Okeechobee – Ramona Romero passed away December 19, 2021. She was born August 31, 1940 in LaJoya Guerrero, Mexico. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She enjoyed sewing, farming, planting plants, shopping and spending time with family. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Carlos Romero-Munoz, of Okeechobee; son, Francisco Romero (Maria), of Zolfo Springs; daughters, Rosa Gomez (Nemesio), of Oklahoma, Maricela Aguilera (Alejandro), of Okeechobee; nine grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; brothers, Gelacio Cisneros Alcantar and Javier Cisneros Alcantar, both of Mexcio; sisters, Inocencia Cisneros, of Okeechobee, Sofia Cisneros, of Mexico, Paulita Cisneros, of Mexico, Dalia Cisneros, of Texas and Maria Cisneros, of Texas. Visitation will be 8 a.m. until 9:30 am Monday, December 27, 2021 at Buxton and Bass Okeechobee Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Monday, December 27, 2021 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
