Phyllis D. Campbell Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Phyllis Ann (Debolt) Campbell, 83, of Hamilton Ohio passed away on February 1, 2022 in her Vero Beach, Florida home. Phyllis was born and raised in Hamilton, Ohio where she worked as a cake designer for Marshs Supermarket and Jungle Jims and as a successful real estate agent for West Shell Realty. Phyllis' proudest civic achievement was being elected as the first President of the Fairfield Youth Athletic Association and was active in the Fairfield school system where she was instrumental in organizing and running the Fairfield elementary school INDIANETTES drill team, served on several Masonic Organizations where she was Worthy Matron of Easter Star, Mother Advisor to Jobs Daughters of Hamilton Ohio and Mother Advisor to Hamilton Chapter Order of Demolay. Phyllis was active with her churches in both Okeechobee, Florida (Northside Baptist Church) and in Fairfield, Ohio (North Fairfield Baptist Church). Phyllis was preceded in death by her daughter, Diana Marie (Campbell) Faries; husband, Robert Campbell Jr.; mother, Edith Ann Debolt; and several sisters, in-laws, and friends. Phyllis is survived by her son, Thomas Ray Campbell & wife, Wendy and their children, Rachel, Cheyenne, and Hannah Campbell; grandson, Brandon Faries; granddaughters, Brittany Nicole Faries & Becca Marie McElfrish (Derrik); great-granddaughters, Tiana and Natalia Whitley & Peyton McElfrish; great-grandson Coltin McElfrish; son-in-law, Scott Ferries (Mary) and their children Tori Thomas & Sarah and Brian Faries; as well as numerous close relatives, friends, and loved ones. The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. until memorial services at 4 p.m. Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at Buxton & Bass Okeechobee Funeral Home in Okeechobee, FL. She will be interred in the family plot at Rose Hill Cemetery, Fairfield Ohio, next to her beautiful daughter, Diana, and her spouse and soulmate of 53 years, Robert. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her honor to the American Cancer Society.
