Mark James Phillips, 62 Mark James Phillips died June 17, 2022. He was born April 20, 1960 in Constableville, New York. A resident of Florida since 1982, he was of the Catholic faith. He enjoyed Legos and caring for his cats. Mr. Phillips worked in law enforcement for many years in Palm Beach County. Mr. Phillips was preceded in death by his father, John H. Phillips, Jr.; baby sister, Sharon Phillips; and his grandparents. He is survived by his mother, Joan Phillips, of Alder Creek, New York; sisters, Robin Sellers, of Okeechobee, Kelly Alger (Mike), of Forestport, New York, and Karen Gengler (Don), of St. Charles, Michigan; John Phillips, III (Audrey), of Port Orchard, Washington, and William Phillips (Caryn), of Cold Brook, New York; many nieces and nephews; and close cousins, aunts, and uncles; and his constant companion kitty, Moto. Visitation will be 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, June 24, 2022 at Buxton & Bass Okeechobee Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Treasure Coast Hospice.
