Deborah Jacobs Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Deborah Lynn Jacobs, 63 Okeechobee – Deborah went home to be with the Lord on June 11, 2022 with family by her side. She was born on February 9, 1959 in Logansport, Indiana. A lifetime resident of Okeechobee, she was a member of the Fountain of Life Church. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and helping others. She loved playing cards with her family and doing crafts with her church group even though she sometimes took other people’s projects home, to which her group thought was comical. Her favorite pastime was taking rides with her husband or watching T.V. with him while she enjoyed a glass of milk and cornbread. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She loved her family and friends unconditionally. There was not anything she wouldn’t do to lend a helping hand even when it came to her career. She served many years with Workforce Solutions helping many within the community of Okeechobee find jobs. She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Lillian Rudd, brother, Billy Rudd; and her biological mother, Lola Rice. She is survived by her husband, David Jacobs; daughters, April Brazil (Jose), Brittany Talavera (Rene), and Samantha Jacobs(Alan). her sons, Ricky Haggard (Hannah) and David Jacobs Jr. (Ashley). grandchildren, Zachary Brazil, Faith Brazil, Elena Talavera, Myles, and Mary Kann; brothers, Robert Taylor and Keith Spooner; and a slew of nieces, nephews, and extended family. There will be a Celebration of Life for Deborah Friday, June 17th, 2022 @ 6pm at The Fountain of Life Church at 1302 SW 32nd St, Okeechobee, FL 34974. The service can be livestreamed on the Fountain of Life Facebook page. The family asks that all memorial donations be made to the Fountain of Life Church. To bring flowers or any other arrangements the Fountain of Life Church will be open from 9am-12pm.
