Betty J. Johnson, 86 Okeechobee – Betty J. Johnson died January 26, 2022. She was born September 30, 1935 in Labelle, Florida to Leo and Anna Belle (Prescott) Lanzel. A resident of Felda for 50 years, she relocated to Okeechobee four years ago. She was a member of The Pentecostals of Okeechobee and she enjoyed gardening, reading and studying the Bible, and church activities. Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil O. Johnson, Sr. and her daughter, Ruth A. Johnson. She is survived by her son, Cecil O. Johnson, Jr. and Robert Johnson; daughter, Rebecca A. Johnson; four grandchildren, Jason Johnson, Jewel Landrum, Leah Johnson, and Jeffery Johnson; and two great grandchildren, Andon and Cole Landrum. Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, February 19, 2022 at The Pentecostals of Okeechobee, 405 SW 10th AVE, Okeechobee, Florida 34974.
