Beatrice Smith Lee Greer Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Beatrice Smith Lee Greer, 87, was born on November 27, 1934 and entered her heavenly home to be in the arms of Jesus on May 14, 2022. Beatrice was born in Okeechobee, Florida where she spent most of her adult life. She worked at Okeechobee County Bank for many years. She was also known as Bea Bea to her loving granddaughters and great grandchildren. She enjoyed being in her garden of flowers; two of her favorite flowers were day lilies and roses of many colors. She spent a lot of time doing some of her many talents of crocheting, sewing, and quilting, along with many other crafts. As of many things, we must say shopping was a favorite for her, she loved bright clothes with matching hats. She loved spending time at church and with her family and friends. She loved to travel and was always up for an adventure. Bea Bea never met a stranger anyone who had the pleasure of meeting her was opened with loving arms and embraced with a contagious smile. Her memory will forever live on in each one of our hearts. She was well known to be “The Boss” in the family. Bea Bea has now gone to join her mother, Jerutha Smith; father, Henry Ellis Smith; brothers, Buddy Smith and Glen Smith; and sisters, Mable Perviss and Jeannette Waldron. She leaves behind to treasure and cherish many memories with her loving son, Jessie Wayne Lee (Linda); grandchildren, Patty Wagoner (Gary), Traci Lee; great grandchildren, Gary Wayne Wagoner, Jr., Katelyn Deschamps, Joseph Deschamps; Alivia Lee, and Noah Lee. She was also loved and cherished by many family in friends that reside in Florida, Kentucky, and Mississippi. Visitation will be 11 a.m. until services at 1 p.m. Friday, May 20, 2022 at Buxton & Bass Okeechobee Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
