Alicia Rothrock,55 Okeechobee Alicia took her first step in Glory on May 2,2022 surrounded by her loved ones. She was born January 13, 1967 in Clermont, Florida to the late Joseph and Jimmie Rutherford and had a bonus father in the late Benjamin Durrance. She was a beloved and devoted Mother, Granny, Sister and Friend. She never met a stranger and loved everyone she came in contact with. She had a passion for life and her family. She was the backbone and caretaker of the family. There wasn’t a plant she couldn’t grow or an animal that didn’t love her. She was best known for her fried chicken and sweet tea. There wasn’t an adventure she wasn’t up for, whether it be gator hunting or walking the Bronx of New York at 3 am. This world was a better place for having Alicia’s kind spirit and words. She is dearly missed by all that loved her. She is preceded in death by her brother, Richard (Carol) Durrance. She is survived by her partner, James Pittman; daughter, Elizabeth (Lawrence) Dugan McClure; granddaughter, Addison; grandson, Roberto; sister, Charlotte (Daryl); nephew, Ben (Bailey), Dewella (Joseph) Crabb; brothers, W.J. (Terisa) Durrance, Mark (Kebra) Durrance, and David (Misty) Rutherford; along with a slew of loved nieces, nephews, and extended family. Family will receive friends 2 p.m. until service at 3 p.m. Thursday, May 12, 2022 at Buxton & Bass Okeechobee Funeral Home.
